B DESIGN has been owned and operated by James Buchan since 2003, and has been based in Roxburgh since the beginning, but due to an ever increasing workload and client base spread throughout Central Otago, B DESIGN is now located in an exciting new studio and workshop in Alexandra.

Working alongside James is a Central Otago local, Sarah Philip. Sarah began her graphic design career in 2007, working for a promotional products company in Melbourne for 8 years, before moving back to Central Otago working as a freelance designer. During this time, Sarah worked with James on many exciting and successful projects.

James' daughter Emma has also joined the B DESIGN after completing her Batchelors Degree in Design (Communication) at Otago Polytechnic. After graduating Emma worked as a Design and Marketing Stategist for an agency in Dunedin, before moving back to Central Otago.

Colleen, James' wife, is also part of the team, who is responsible for all of the accounts. Colleen has an accounting degree and has worked alongside James since the business began.

With many years of combined experience, our vast knowledge of the signage and design industry allows us to produce quality work across the board. This ensures that our clients receive the best creative and signage solutions that meet their requirements no matter how big or small the job. Our priority is understanding the specific needs of each client and making sure we apply them throughout the entire design process.
